Hey kids, listen up! Way up on a super big ol’ mountain, right next to a wild forest, there was this tiny lil’ village, ya know?
In that village, there lived this sweet old grandpa and his itty-bitty grandson, just the two of ’em chillin’ together.
Everybody in that village? They all headed into the forest to hunt animals and eat ’em to stay alive, dude!
Their spot was all hilly and bumpy, no flat land for farmin’ at all. So, huntin’ was the only way to score some grub, for real!
That’s when down at the bottom of the mountain, in the big village, they were throwin’ this massive festival, whoa! So, everybody from the mountain village packed up and went.
That lil’ boy and his grandpa? They tagged along too, yay! On the way, that kiddo spots this gorgeous rose bush, oh man!
He’d never seen a rose bush like that up on the mountain, so it looked super-duper pretty to him, like wow!
Right away, he tells his grandpa, “Grandpa, I gotta take that rose bush with me, pretty please!” And grandpa? He grabs a pot, scoops in a ton of dirt, plops the rose bush in, and off they go!
Festival’s over, everybody heads back to their mountain village. That boy? He plants his rose bush right outside their house, awesome!
After a bit, the rose bush grows huge, whoop whoop! He sticks more cuttings in the ground and starts growin’ a whole buncha rose bushes, like a boss!
Then one day, the boy sees a bug on his rose bush. He tries to catch it and smack it, oops! But that bug stings his hand, ouchie! The pain’s too much, so he runs to grandpa cryin’, “Grandpa, it hurts so bad!”
Grandpa looks at the bug and goes, “Aw, kiddo, that’s a honey bee! It sucks nectar from flowers and saves it as honey – that’s the best medicine ever, buddy!”
Right then, the boy makes a lil’ box next to his rose garden. Boom! Tons of honey bees come buzzin’ in and start livin’ there, yay!
After a while, that box is fulla yummy honey, slurp! The bees multiply like crazy and start collectin’ nectar from every plant in the village.
But uh-oh! They sting some of the village kids while doin’ it. Oww!
So, the mad village folks march up to grandpa and start yellin’, “What the heck, man? Get rid of those bees!”
Then one day, whoa nelly! A huge sickness hits the whole village, super scary! They try forest herbs for medicine, but nobody gets better, nope!
With the sickness, folks can’t hunt right, so tons of houses are starvin’, oh no!
The boy hears this and thinks, “Hey, mixin’ herbs with our honey could heal everybody, I betcha!” Smart kid!
He grabs all the honey and runs to grandpa, “Here, Grandpa, take it!” Grandpa mixes it with the herbs and gives medicine to every single person in the village, yay!
That honey-herb mix? It gives everybody super strong immunity, boom! They all get healthy and bouncy again in no time!
Everybody heads back to huntin’ in the forest, whoo-hoo!
The folks who yelled at grandpa earlier? They feel super sorry now. They run to him goin’, “Grandpa, we’re so dumb – forgive us, please!” And they all hug it out, the end!
(Moral for you kids: Bees and honey are your best buds for stayin’ healthy, just like in America where we love our backyard bees and sweet honey jars! 🐝🌹)
